Hello! I’m Taja Johnson—a proud mother, wife, and passionate journalist with a flair for storytelling. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Rowan University, where my journey into journalism began. As a student, I dove into the world of media as an intern for Rowan University's social media team and later with Follow South Jersey News, where I sharpened my skills and found my voice. I’ve had the privilege of working as an Associate Editor for the Sun Newspaper and with the South Jersey Information Equity Project (SJIEP). My work with SJIEP allowed me to amplify the stories of Black and Brown communities in South Jersey—voices that deserve to be heard. But I’m not stopping there! This year, I’m taking my passion for journalism to the next level by pursuing a Master’s in Journalism at Temple University. With an eye on the future, I’m gearing up to break into broadcast and TV reporting, bringing the same dedication and enthusiasm to the screen that I’ve brought to the page. I invite you to explore, engage, and enjoy the ride with me!
